Is search working for any of you?

I just tried to search for the "Seal Clubbing" thread in CD Reviews/New Release discussion. I searched both "Seal" and "Clubbing" in titles only, and forum specific (CD Review), for the last 3 months, last month, last 2 weeks, last week, and last year, and was returned no results.

I know the thread is there - And that it should show up given these search criteria, so my question is whether or not any of you all are experiencing some problems with search this morning or not?

Please note: This isn't me "complaining" about search, I just want to know if its up and I'm using it wrong or if it's simply not working again.

Cheers.

I'm getting nothing either, and I usually have no problem finding what I'm after. Odd.

Yup, when Search is working, I generally have absolutely no issue.

I'm guessing there's a chance that something got fouled up last night and maybe Del hasn't noticed it yet :conf:

I've had the same problem when I pull a dave dresden to get my TLs. I can only find a few listings in the promotion forum. which is wierd. Either the terms are not getting entered into the searchable database, or it is delayed in getting into the searchable database a lot!

I don't understand your meaning in showing me those two results. The "Seal Clubbing" thread in MD isn't the one I was searching for, and I solely searched for the words "Seal" and "Clubbing" in thread titles in the CD reviews/New Release Discussion forum, as I assumed that would likely lead me to the result I needed.

Hmmm, perhaps I'm not explaining this as well as I could be... :conf:

this is the thread you're searching for, i assume:

http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...&highlight=seal

so...using simple logic, here we go:

it was posted in june, so we gotta search 6 months back. Then type "seal clubbing" in the including these words search field. Then check search titles only. Then choose the cd reviews section as the forum. Then click search. The only result is the thread you want.

i had no problem finding a specific Nick Warren thread in the Tracklist forum.

Nope, that wasn't it either. The one I wanted was only a month or so old (made by montana, and I did find it eventually but only scrolling through the forum), and I did search exactly the way you described and not come up with any results.

I really don't see what's so hard to understand about this... I've described exactly the steps that I used to search multiple times.
