Did I just damage my turntables??

| Ok now I know this is probably unforgiveably retarded but we all learn lessons one way or the other. I get my Technics SL1200 MK2s out of the box and turn them on and I notice the lights are going from bright to dim and the platter takes 20 seconds to stop spinning when I hit the Stop button. I have used my friends before so I knew something was up. Well in my excitement, I didn't notice before I put the platter on that these turntables were set out of the box to 220V not 110V. I had them on for a total of about 2 minutes this way. My question is did I damage them? I have of course since corrected the voltage and they are working fine now but I can't help but think did what I do hurt them in any way? I'm thinking that since they were set to a higher voltage and they were getting lower voltage, less damage would have been done as opposed to having them set on low voltage and plugging them into a 220 outlet right? I'm so sick and pissed at myself for this. Thanks for any input... |

Same thing happend to me when I dropped the mixer's adapter on my CDJ-100S jog dial...
Dont be worried those things are built to last, I dont think that from 2 minuts something can happen, and even if it did, its just a shorted cicuite, you can replace it like that.
Important thing is that they are working. |

| ya... i dont think any damage was done, maybe, if it was supposed to be on 110V and u put it on 220V, then it would cost some damage (like i did to my brothers stereo by mistake. :D), but if u gave it less power when u plugged it in the 110V, think no damage was done, it was just gettin less power |

| Don't Worry, From What I Remember From Physics, When You Supply A Voltage Less Than What It's Supposed To Be, Then The Only Prob Is That Your Applications Will Not Have Enough Power To Work Properly, But Nothing Happens To It At All ;D |

Should be okay, it's working fine, right?
My turntable voltages are set to 220V, and I spin them in that setting, but then again I'm in Asia. :D |

well im sure you didn't do any harm to them
im not sure about the mk2's...but on my m3d's, they come with this UK plug (or whatever it is) and i had to buy a plug adaptor for it
but that's besides the point
on the plug there is a fuse, which im sure would blow if you were putting to much power into it or somehow were damaging via to much voltage/wrong voltage
im not sure if the mk2's have this anyways...but regardless i don't htink you did any damage to 'em |

| no, all it does is that switch tells the table how 2 behave, they can cope with up to 260V incase of power surges :) dont worry my friend :) |
