nowhere near as cool though, plus i kinda want the wii anyways, gamecube was a failure of a system
LOL its backwards compatible though so i could buy the wii and the gamecube version which would probably be either cheaper or easier to find, and just not have the cool wii functions work :haha:

talked to a few guys, said i can definitely get one if i get in line saturday afternoon
if not that, probably be waiting till christmas, and it'll be easier then, but not easy
RJT
Mezzir, anyone telling you that Wii's will be in short supply is clearly not paying attention to Nintendo's consistent assertions that they will have 4 million shipped before Christmas. You might not get one on opening day, but they won't be impossible to find.

PS3, now that's another story ;)

just consider this: most shops will be getting 10-15 ps3s for friday's launch, but they will be getting at least 60 of wiis for sunday's launch :)

That's being very, VERY generous.

The average amount of PS3's per game store (EB/GS/TRU/BB/etc...) is about 7. Range is from 3 to 20. The average amount of Wii's per game store is about 20. Not sure about the range.

damn! where do YOU live?
future shop (canadian store) is guaranteeing at least 10, but will most likely have 15-20 per store, of ps3s. they promise at least 60 of wiis

eb, sears, and smaller ones are supposed to have only 2

New York.

The numbers you're providing might, unfortunately, be nothing more than empty promises. They might get shafted by Sony at any time. :/

that is true
but, hopefully due to a smaller population number, canada might have a higher ratio of consoles on friday :D

if i dont get it, i'll live
visiting my nephew in a bit who owns an xbox360, im sure that'll help pass the time
