And I also said "fill in the blank..." |
Which is why I said that "many people who are trance fans" part. I just added the 2nd sentence to discuss myself before someone said that I don't listen to trance. |

I'm not really into trance anymore, but Armin is one dj who always delivers, at least when I have heard him.
One of the best nights I heard him was at Roxy a few years ago...Remy opened. Armin closed with "Slipstream" into "C:/..."
hell of a night. |

| thought the first few hours till 8ish at brooklyn were slow and then the rest was amazing. didnt think his crobar set in oct was that great. so you can tell by the type of stuff he played to end in july is the trance i prefer. stuff like exactly, and lift. is that considered fluff? |

LOL, you're one of the few people I've heard who thinks he's gotten better, as opposed to worse. He's fluffier now. And the vocals, there's just as many. |
True, I always fall as sleep at his shows...But I like his ASOTs though...good to listen to...but not to dance to in a club... |

People on here perfer dancing to house, miminal, progressive, and thecno at clubs or listening it home/ipod. But they may like trance aswell or perfer the older stuff from 1999-2001. Also theres many trance DJ we enjoy don't make it to the states, so when you post a Armin thread of course not everyone going to agree since hes been around a dozen times so it get kinda of boring seeing the same DJ's come around. Hope I cleared it up for you and anyone
Good day :) |

Colibri...Armin changed because the music changed. I think people say he's not great or whatever because of his tracklistings. He takes a liking to the new stuff. So no one should blame him if the stuff he plays sucks..He likes something just as anyone would in general. You should blame the producers if anything for making crap. But I like whatever he plays. His sets are pretty versatile. He might've been better back in 2003 (imo) because the music produced back then was great and that was the stuff he played. Now it's ok, but too many of the same methods/instruments used in productions.
Did he change for the better? I don't think there can be an answer for that. Simply because music evolves constantly. So as long as that happens, his style in his sets will evolve. It will remain Trancey for the most part, though. |

Haha..This site should be renamed to EDMAddict..Simply because there's so many people on here more into other genres besides Trance. Kinda ironic, yes? |
