| Yah, i used to live on IRC as well; nothing beat an IRC channel full of insanely smart 12 year olds, their HUGE bandwidth, and FTP servers. Those days seem to have gone by the way side, though I hear some are still using that venue. I still use IRC for a bunch of things, and prefer flashfxp, though point to point transfers seem to be a thing of the past... |

I have had many coworkers receive an email from Rogers, at Paramount's Request, in regards to Torrents they were downloading. Obviously, they were movies. Think of it as you may, we all know its wrong anyways... |
how did your coworkers deal with the email from paramount/rogers/bayTSP? |

I got one: I ignored it and stopped using torrents for the most part; when I did use torrents I made sure I used Peer Guardian 2 at the same time; no problems since. Now, I essentially never use torrents and d/l all my goodies via http/ftp (i.e., direct links).
