I used to live in quebec, heres some math...
In Quebec, I was paying:
$400 in insurance
$250 plating
$100 for license
and about 10cents higher per litre on gas
In Ontario, I am paying:
$2200 in insurance
$75 for plates (if i remember right)
$50 for a few years of license (i cant remember the price on this one)
Simple math tells me that the higher car insurance cost in ontario still outways any other higher cost I was paying in Quebec ....
SAAQ covers for body injury in accidents. The reason they can is they charge more for plating and licensing....which is still much cheaper than the insurance ripoff we are getting raped on.... |

nothing i read on here is ever taken personally...
and ive noted that in most cases its the same likewise. Ive met a lot of people in person and it was completely different than reading their comments on the board. usually in a good way i might add.
All this board is for me is a way to float ideas and get feedback. As i said its better than tv because tv tells you and you cant tell it back. And your friends usually agree with what u say either to be polite or because they are like minded (usually why they are your friends). But on TOTA if someone doesnt agree they will tell you and likewise. And thats whats entertaining about it.
the political rantings are only a small side of my personality that is magnified 10 times on this board. |

I already dont take it...and I live far enough from TO to not have such traffic problems!
and when i travel through TO, I make sure its at like past 8PM! |
