there isn't much they can do? LOL...there you go...the democrats have no solution or plan regarding this whole terrorism issue.

We hope many of them will take a more pragmatic approach to the situation in Iraq, unlike the ideologues in the white house and pentagon who seem to be completely removed from the realities on the ground there.
The removal of Rumsfeld was already a HUGE step forward, just the fact that he will no longer be making key decisions based on the dreamworld that exists in his head should have some kind of effect.
If you dont know of the democrats alternatives then you havn't been following the news much because there are plenty of them. And while they may not all be the best ideas, at least they are considering different options instead of blindly doing the same over and over and expecting a different result like the knuckleheads currently in charge.
The biggest plus imo is that the democrats seem to be ardent on holding the administration accountable for its failures in Iraq, something the republican conreolled legislature did little or none of... |
