Just is there anything to subsitute instead of drinking JW all night because drink stright anything is not good for more than 2 hrs

Drink water between JWs or get mixed drinks (or have him switch to beer after the first few). Also eat a sandwich or pizza (something absorbant, not sushi, steak, salads, etc.) right before you go, as liquor on an empty stomach hits you fast.

I usually drink bourbon and I used to drink it on the rocks quite often. That's just not conducive to clubbing, though, so I usually drink Maker's and coke.

sounds good to me. I guess you can mix JW or Makers with coke instead of ice to loosen the strength up abit

man i hope PVD is gonna back to his roots and throw it down proper, the park has always been weak sets for him, he needs to throw down a redeeming set.

Exact same with me. I'm not even looking to go out for New Years. I'll probably just go to a house party. I need to start saving money!

TWO MORE DAYS!!! Does anybody know if the roads are going to be closed around 7-8am for the parade? I'm driving in from Long Island and after seeing PvD, I have to drive to La Guardia to pick up my friend. If anybody could give me some tips on what the best route would be out of Manhattan from the Roseland would be greatly appreciated! Also parking info for the event wouldn't be too bad either! ;) Thanks in advance!

well that is true but i have to budget accordingly and choose. i no longer have the *resources* or *interest* to check out everything. but thats my own thing. i like to keep a good balance of clubbing vs. nonclubbing activities (hurray secret santa and iceskating :) )

but those are certainly great events to keep in mind
btw isnt roxy *closed*? thats why IM couldnt perform there...

I need some advice. My friend who i am going with drinks alot. I posted a while ago about this.

Ex.. Last time we went out was for the swedish brothers(angorsso.??)at crobar a few weeks ago. We pre-gamed on the train. I had a large heiniken can(the mini lookin keg) but he had 3 double beers(22oz)He did not have it in the entire 45 min train ride so he finished them about 30-40 min inside pen and I had a 99 cent beer from that mini beer stand along side the magazine store next to TGIF. We got the Mysace free drinks and admin to corbar from 10-11:30 but they gave us bottom of the barrel vodka with OJ or Cranberry. He usually drinks Jhonnie walker on rocks always!! After the 3 22 oz and the vodka he had instead because it was free ed him up and we left at like 1:30ish. Eralybird and I was having a good time with the girls I met.

When he pre-games he should have like at the most 1 22oz for the train and one more while going to the roseland via cab or subway. Then inside ???? I am not sure to make sure he does not get f'd up too early.

Fast version: I know how to drink to have a good time over a long period of time. My friend drinks way too fast and too strong stuff.

That's some noob ish..my advice would be to tell your friend to chill back with the drinks and pace himself... no point in blowing money on going out if your night ends at 1:30 and nothing to show for it.

The parade starts at 77th and Central Park West at 9am and ends at 37th and 7th around noon. I was hoping to park, for free, somewhere around 5th and 6th aves this way I don't have to take a detour when I'm leaving. Will parking, for free, be hard to find the night before?

I think the IM thing was temporary, last I heard Roxy will remain open, not that this is something to go by but Yahel's website and Myspace still have him slated to play Roxy NYE.

Halliwell is slated for Avalon which I also thought was closed but then heard it's going to be at Crobar which appears to be closing as well, go figure...
