About as bland as plain white toast.
Nah, I shouldn't be so hard on toast.
...
In all seriousness though, it sounds like they just can the same melody for the entire track, simply layering it over and over again w/ different vsti's/instruments. Really just an utter bore for me, seemed very directionless. |

| They're just looking like ing dorks how they're standing behind their booths doing nothing but fake EQ'ing. |

Oh dear.....
Blank & Jones are rubbish. Their tunes only ever get good after they have been remixed.
I'm glad this won't get released. Bear in mind Martin Gore turned down remixes by Deep Dish for 'Enjoy the silence' it's hardly surprising that a blank & Jones remix of a Depeche Mode tune isn't being allowed to pollute the world. |

Yeah, this is about as plain as their remix of The Cure's "A Forest".
By the way, go to 00:08 of this video and watch how Jaspa Jones, so that he wouldn't look awkward, tries to air-drum in a very lame way. It's funny how he has no idea what he is doing :D
DJ Sid, are they really fake EQ'ing? (I've never DJed in my life) |

Mike Koglin sampled Enjoy the Silence so you never know he might let them release it if he thinks it's a worthy mix!
I very much doubt it though!
Nick Warren played Mr Brightside at the end of one of his recent sets and I must admit it was brilliant, but that was probably down to Nick Warren's mixing then B&J' |

haha exactly, all those damn trance djs with nothing to do behind the booth....
they really look ridicoules in that video, damnit just press play and have a chat with your fans instead of that superficial - "look! we are djs and are affecting the music playing by looking very intense on the mixer and slightly rotating our gain-knobs!" - crap |
