I love these sets, they show how good Oakey used to be. These are some of the best sets to chill to and have a good time. Who knows...maybe Oakenfold will become this good again someday, I would love to see it.
So whats your favorite EM from the tour? I know its hard to decide:D
Mine's Gatecrasher '99...it's soo full of energy and you can hear the crowd go nuts as well as yourself go crazy when Oakey plays 'art of trance - madagascar (ferry corsten remix)' and then 'push - universal nation (ferry corsten remix)'...it blows the roof off.
Can someone also list all of the sets from the tour (I think there is 12) just so I can make sure I have all of them and so other people can get them all too.:) |

YES! My most favorite Oakey set. Would have been better w/o the Radiohead mix & Bullet in a Gun tho.

Live from Joni's, Havana, Cuba is my favorite. When he dropped Angelmoon - He's all I want. I almost died. Those vocals are so damn beautiful!

hey, speaking of blackligh - Daydream, does anybody have Oakenfolds mix of that? i'm listening to the original, and it seems to not be as powerful as oakenfolds version. (and if you have it, possibly have it without Pete Tongs annoying voice over the first few seconds?)

Oops, forgot about the original question. My favorite Oakenfold EM set is either Ibiza, or Gatecrasher.
also, why does oakenfolds official site list Vortex - Vortex as his opening track for both Liverpool and Home In London? (i can't find it on audiogalaxy) |
