if it's that big a problem, put lots of tracks on one cd, and copy that cd.
I put 2-3 tracks per cd, usually buy a mix of prog and trance so split them up on one cd, less chance of wanting to play the tracks back to back.
2-3 means I can still legibly write the details on the cd |

| 80minutes, burn each cd twice. |

| Each time I make a purchase, it's usually about ten tunes. To avoid any problems, I burn all ten onto one disc, then burn a second disc that's identical to it. |

I think most people like 1 track per CD (and remixes) so that it is just like vinyl. This is good because you can write big on the CD so that you can see it in poor lighting conditions.
Imagine if you had 13 tracks on there and had to read off a written sheet of paper. Not that it is a bad idea......everyone is different.
the bad part about 1 track per CD is that you need to keep buying lots of CDs and cases and need to keep it really organized by name, style, energy, bpm,....whatever works for you and however you will be able to find the track you want as soon as possible.
There is no right way...just what works best for you. |

| True, but CDs are so cheap these days there's really no excuse for trying to cram a bunch of tunes onto one disc. But as you said, everyone is different :) Whatever works. |

usually 5-10 on one cd and copy...alphabetized. personally i dont think i would be able to keep track of my cd's if i only have 1 per disk.
i think you should try both methods of 1 song per cd or multiple just to see how convient they are for you |

1 track per cd would be nice if you don't have a whole lot of tracks. i just couldn't bing myself to burning 400+ CDs.
gotta fill the cd and make doubles. i list all the tracks with a marker on the cd itself. and yes you can see it in a dim dj booth. never the less you should always be prepaired, so i have a pen light that stays in my cd case at all times...i'm scared of the dark :nervous: |
