It's a fun tune, nothing more, nothing less. Not really meant to be taken seriously. But back in the day it got annoying, around the same time Sandstorm became popular..around 2000 and 2001. Nowadays I don't listen to it, or really care. It really is justed played in hockey arenas and basketball stadiums and maybe even high school dances.

I highly doubt that last one.

Ya never know, but I'm not in high school anymore or have been to a dance so I don't know. But those DJ guys only knew a few quote un quote "techno" tracks and I am sure they are recycling the same ones they played 5 years ago to high school crowds when I was there. I'm sure they are still playing "Sandstorm" at high school dances across the U.S., whether those students know that track nowadays is another story. Dunno what these high school students would know as far as quote un quote "techno" tunes....probably Cascada....
Erotic Buddha
great track

I saw the thread title and just assumed it was a bump from 6 years ago. The song was slightly catchy to me back then but now I'd be fine if I never heard it ever again.

I got dragged to some totally bunk trance party last New Year's. They played it. Probably trying to be 'cute' or 'clever'. I was not amused.

I still like it, both because it makes me all nostalgic and because well... it's great.
