amazing night ~~ Roseland was so much better than it was in March with sound and visuals. Those lasers were totally insane. Unfortunately I got a bad headache and had to bounce around 4:30 and missed a few of the classics at the end, but I remember a few for the first 4 hours --

Dave Spoon - At Night
4 Strings - Into the Night
Delerium - Innocente
Kyau vs Albert - Are you Fine?
Jonas Steur - Second Turn :eyes:
Sassot - Empty (!)
Marcos - Cosmic String
Carlos Resort - O Class
New Order - Blue Monday
Azzido da Bass - Doomsnight
John Rundell - Old School + Plastikman - Spastik (awesome)
Oceanlab - Satellite
Modulation - Spirits
Guisseppe - Through Your Eyes
Marco V - Any Better Or
Activa - Airflow
Activa - Dark
Austin Leeds & Terranova - For the Pills

Hrm, definitely one of the most enjoyable PvD sets I've been to. Definitely a big step up from his last show at Summerstage when I left mid-set to go shoot pool.

I arrived fairly late circa 1am after having only had 1 hour of sleep, a full day at work, and a 5 mile run just before the event. Not sure how things started off but the tracks were bangin' when I got there  . The energy of the set was much better than what I'm used to for PvD. A lot of, idk,tech-trance/prog. Really liked the fact that they changed the set up of the stage from the way it was in March. The latter part of his set had some droning filler tracks that didn't really go anywhere. Overall the set was solid though. I enjoyed myself, as exhausted as I was. Great seeing the usuals and meeting the lot of you that I did. Till next time :haha: !!

i wanted to know if ne1 could ID the 2nd last track that paul played (or maybe it was the 3rd last) ... it sounded fairly similar to are you fine without those rubbish vocals ofcourse ...

I'm glad I made it back to the city to catch the last 2 hours of his set, I was really enjoying the journey until he played 4 An angel and ed it all up, he has to let go of that track already!

All in all he made up for what I thought was a terrible Central Park set. Good to see him back to his old form!

paul dropped madd classics, and some unfamiliar tracks, esp. that one song he dropped twice in the night, ending the night so sublimely (i dont know the name of it but it was really *SWEET* - "this is the anthem for the girl who got away...")

YEESSSSSSS

So do we have the name of this track yet?????

This is exactly the question I was about to post. That track was jussttt sooo sweet.

Pretty much every PVD event I go to, there has to be one of these "wtf is this track" moments for me...

Last Roseland it was Ones we Loved, and this time it was this anthem!!

I thought the set was exactly how every six hour set should be. Started off with real high energy...played Jonas Steur - Second turn after a couple of song which is usually his transition into groovy house and dirty beats stuff...and this is pretty much how his set wa until 3...electro housey with some familiar tracks in between...

There was this amazing piano track he played around the 2:30 pm...if anybody can ID it...I'd appreciate it.

From 3-6, it was complete madness, he really teases by playing elements of some songs in totally different tracks...I distinctly remember him putting elements of 'Louder' into a totally different track...which teased and annoyed at the same time...

Overall, killer set!!

Hello to all the TA's I met!! :)

I know marcel hossa is a huge dance music fan. it was mentioned a few times during last season that he usually controls the music in the rangers dressing room and that its mostly trance or some prog house. what players were there?
