Just got back from it. Excellent, excellent flick. It started out slow, but the immense amount of turns towards the end of the movie and how it tied everything from the beginning together was awesome. Plus, Scarlett Johansson was gorgeous.

10/10

Any movie with Scarlett in it is at least tolerable. That said, this is actually a really good movie! Good movie + Scarlett = great movie.

Umm, it came out in 2006.

my 2nd non-Batman series favorite Nolan movie. My list goes:

Memento
The Prestige
Following
Insomnia
Lews
I actually wasn't the biggest fan of this movie. I saw it and enjoyed it a lot, but the ending with the clone stuff just didn't make sense in my head. He killed himself to win the bet. That's illogical. He doesn't get to savor the victory. And he could have easily had an amazing trick without killing himself everytime. Even better tricks than the one he had.

But I get that they wanted to set it up with the whole murder thing.

Still, was a good movie. 7/10, probably.

I preferred The Illusionist a lot more. Beautifully shot, Edward Norton, Philip Glass soundtrack, 10/10.

I am one of those few who disliked Memento. I bought it with such high hopes and in the end was disappointed. Now it just sits there and collects dust.

Plus how can you not like a movie with Bowie in it? As Tesla, no less. Pshaw.
