First of all, I asked Mel and a couple of people; whats up with that Chinese theme Space had going last night?!?!..
I got there around 11:30 I believe. No line, room pretty empty, the TA's had already taken over the box and mostly everyone was there already.
From the time that I got there, EdgarV was playing, like always, an exeptionally nice warm up house set, enjoyed it nicely, I just have to mention wtf happen when the system and the lights went out?!?! .. Someone prolly tripped. Anyways. On to PvD.
Like always PvD makes those crazy intro's.. and from there on that was lift-off. He threw a banging set, a set that had us going nuts into with a middle slower mood, to then bring us back up again with such tunes as For an Angel, an anthem that PvD plays basically everytime, but one that no one gets tired off ( or so it seems .. I love it ).
I noticed that one of the loops he used was ANother Way, I almost died thinking that that was the next tune but I dont know what trick he used that it slowly faded away and the next song came on.
The set was no terrace set, but it was a great set non-the-less.
Great to see so many TA's and familiar faces. :) |

great night!!! as many of you know, I wasn't gonna go since I had that incident about 2 weeks ago. I was playing Zelda and I'm thinking to myself, " I haven't missed a PVD set in a long time".
Paul Van Dyk.....Why should I miss The Man!??? I couldn't bear it any longer. When Pvd-ism called me that was the last straw. I had to go! lol. Thankfully the guy from space didnt' recognize me. I had to pay the $50 dollars entrance though so that hurt. But it was worth it. I only got to hear like 30 minutes of Edgar's set cuz I got there around 12:30 i think. I loved PVD's intro, and he banged it out after that. I still prefer the terrace set though:D But i enjoyed it. Anytime I get a chance to hear trance on that system i try to take it. Great seeing so many familiar faces and meeting new ones! Here's to another Pvd night! |

It sounds like he did a lot of teasers. |

| Great set by PVD. Hard and beat driven trance, just how it ought to be IMO. He threw in only a couple of house tunes which were quite good, but only as fillers and transitions between the massive trance buildups and breakdowns that came over and over again. My only complaint is that 3 hours was not enough. Oh well. |

The Main Room has PVD's name ALLLLL OVER IT!
Edgar played great at first even though it was quite empty. But for some reason just when PvD is about to go on it got extremely fuking packed. Felt like WMC! It was so packed they werent letting in any more ppl into the main room.
From the very first beat that you heard from PVD's first tracvk, the place just started bouncing. Incredible. For a good hour 1/2 PvD played nothing but everything ata super high BPM... no longer than 4 mins each song.. Just pure non stop craziness, tons of dancing, and fun.
A lil after that he started playing songs more into their full lengths and things with melodic break downs. Only for about 2-30 mins. Then his ending just went back to HIGH fuking ENERGY.
PvD is the man,
PvD is the
PvD's set last night deserves his ass to be #1
I'm sorry but that main room has PvD's name all over it. There is no other dj that can get that type of feed back FROM EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE CLUB. there is no other dj that blows the roof off that main room. PvD feeds off the energy the crowd gives and the crowd feeds off of him.
He's amazing... I think PvD plays with an extra bit of energy that he doesn't play elsewhere [unless its his hometown] since he is so loyal to Miami. The t/l was about the same as NYC.
This Nov tops the patio set in July. This Nov and last Nov go down in history for me.
:eyespop:
I fuking love PvD and he will always be my #1.. :eyespop:
edit- Edgar thanks so much for everything. It was fun being the last TA's up there with you along with Ginger and Brent! Love you all so much and thanks to the TA's for a great time as always ;) |

The funniest ever was that weird guy going up to Ambs and kissing her hand over and over and over and over and over again.
