| wow what a night didnt' get home till like 7:30 am and slept till like 4 :toothless i had a blast last night great meeting and hanging out with all the TA's!!! PVD was awesome i'm glad he didnt play any of his BS productions, best moment of the night was prob. when he dropped Fred Baker vs. Greg Nash-Lunar Eclipse the place was going nuts! rank1-beats@rank1 was awesome, he dropped life less ordinary or was that edgar? Edgar's pre-PVD set was awesome the crowd ate it up when he dropped prydz vs. floyd-proper education even though the power went out haha it was great! Then after PVD he destroyed it with some sick banging ass house started off with starkillers-diskoteka and banged it out after that. EDGAR RULES!!! I ventured to the terrace and stayed for a bit of Cedric great vibe up there lots of people having a good time, wanted to stay till sunrise but my bro was whining :whip: Overall good times!!! :D |

He also dropped.. Only you. The ones we still are.. PvD dropped beats @ rank1.com and life less ordinary. Also For and Angel. Crush... but without vocals. Only said 'I know you want me ' about 3 times and that was all.

Started off like a rock song but def sounded like a PvD production. 'm wondering if it was his last song in July too.
PWNED.
For those of you that "think" pvd has changed. ur dead wrong. PvD has only changed as much as the music has.

OK my turn...
Phil bailed on us and did a no call-no show and never heard from him on Saturday so it was just me and my sister tht went..
Ginger and I got there around 1 and saw that PvD was already playing... we wandered around and b/c of the new set up we didn't know where anybody was or who was even there (TAs)... i texted Damon a few times and he said he was on the box, but I didnt know which box he was talking about and from you guys pictures I dont seem to know any of the newer TAs these days anyway...
As for the set... it was fair... nothing really wowed me, but for the past several PvD sets they havent been anything too special...
I know we go on and on about how things were in the past etc... but for real, times do change and its probably me more than anything, but I used to be able to ID every track back in 02-03 and now these days I might even just recognize 1 or 2 by sound alone... and ID'ing anything is hopeless....
We finally saw nfekted on the patio around 5 or so and then saw melly after that when Edgar was on...
Thank you both Melly and Edgar for having us up in the booth at the end of the night... it really made a very very mediocre night turn into something worth while... I was really upset about Space requesting Edgar to play prog/house at the end of the night, that just sucked...
The PvD at the old space was a mega event I'd plan months ahead... these are so thrown together and carbon copy nights they just dont do it anymore...
In short... a very blah night... music was just OK.... PvD just doesnt do it for me anymore... I seem to only go these days b/c its just him and not the music... I'm holding on to my icon for the wrong reasons... :( |

| Sat nite was by far one of the best times at space, Since I wasnt able to get to see PVD back in july, his set rocked the place similar to his performance back in Nov 2003, The TA turnout was incredible, practically a reunion at the box, I tell ya what also made the nite that since it being on a sat, no annoyning tenny boppers, no drama, no stupid bitches just an amazing nite, as much as I love edgar, his opening set wasnt bad, but since some sources told me he was told to play house for after hrs, I just decided to take off at that time, since one of my reasons to go see Edgar is for his ass kicking trance after hrs set, but need less to say, what can ya do, but like always good times, good people and great frickennnnnnnnnnn music, till the next time |

PVD is number freakin one for a reason, and he proved it on sat just as much as in June for his patio set!! Great freakin times hanging out with everyone, WE ALL OWNED THAT BOX!!!!
It had been a while since I had been able to go out and party, and wow what a way to bring it back!!! PVD IS THE !!!!!
So much energy in that room, it is absolutely ridiculous. It just sucked that he ended so early, and Edgar had to play house :(
But as always, Edgar rocked the main room with his opening set, and I always look forward to parting it up with him and PVD.
Great to see everyone again, and until next time....:D :D :D |
