The times I've seen Matthew live, I think he's dropped some pretty good sets.
Matthew is a sweetheart, isn't that right Julia? ;) |

alrighty, mnml is not my first choice in genre spectrum but Matthew Derham had a great blend of (somewhat in the beggining) funky to dark (toward the middle/end) house beats. good flow, good selection.
exceptional mixing, A+ on the technical side... kicks sounded spot on and Matthew is obviously very talented in the technical side for:
beat matching
beat sync
phrase match
levels
overall cue
one of my fav tracks was at 18 min. and i really liked the breakbeat on the last track, nice bassline.
kudos to you Matthew Derham :toocool: |

minimal bandwagon? i don't see too many dj's playing minimal. if anything, so many dj's have jumped the electro bandwagon.
thanks for all the reviews everyone. :gsmile: |

well i got through it after a quick pause in the middle for some family guy.
it was pretty chill through the first 30ish minutes and the mixing was good. i found the second half kind of boring. i wanted to start up another mix but then i put away my laundry.
i thought the track with the minimal electro bassline was ok, there was a track in there was was really sick somewhere after the first half.
ill have to jump on the tejwagon and say somewhere 6/10ish.
maybe you have to live really mnml to enjoy it.
if it picked up into some more spacy progressive stuff i would be happier.
edit: at least he has cool hair, i think anyhow. Bas' women are from plastic city, lies that place doesn't even exist i typed it into my GPS what does he know? |
