I know you're just kidding around but there is this perception that 16+ electronica based events are something to say "ewww" to - when in actual fact people should be happy they exist. It gives those under 19 options outside the vagino/hiphop/emo scene and helps them develop a taste for EDM that'll hopefully carry them through their 20s (and beyond).

you know that i love destiny events but...
how do you explain why there are only big trance events that are all ages and there arent any big house events that are all ages?
even at a regular all ages event (ie. guv), the house room is not very busy but the room that they place trance/euro in is packed. kids come in to the house room asking for trace.

We all know (and I am not saying that it worked this way for everyone), but most people find the love of electronic music through trance... and then spread their wings to different genres.
Hence the reason why so many young people like trance. We've all gotta start somewhere. |

at least someone thinks the same way that i do.
trance at the moment is the stepping stone in to electronic dance music.
but del doesnt agree cuz he thinks trance is the bestest in the world. :) |

I don't disagree with Trance being the most common gateway into electronica - what I do disagree with is the notion that you have to dismiss Trance in order to appreciate other genres.
