Hey, congrats on quitting. I have been smoking since 11 (with 2 year break between 14-16) till i was 18. Mostly about a pack a day. Less on somedays, sometimes more.
Anyways I quit over a year ago by reading "Easy way to quit smoking" by Allen Carr. Its a pretty popular book, been translated to many languages, and you can get it at your local bookstore. So far I gave the book to my father, cousin and 4 of my smoking friends and all have quit. Now my father was a smoker with 20+ years experience.
Im not going to explain how the book works, all I can say is I read the book in little over 4 hours. Woke up next morning and never had cigarette again. No cravings, no pissy mood. Just quit. All my previous attempts with cold turkey, gum etc were unsuccessfull. I tried to quit 13+ times before and it didnt work.
Even though you have been smoke free for awhile I suggest you read the book and after that you wont be looking at cigaretts the same. The only side effects I had from quitting were 2 dreams about smoking. Thats it.
Good luck :D |

Yup, I've heard about that book. A friend of mine used it to quit smoking and recommended it to me. I'll prolly pick it up sometime. |

Don't give up that easy man! I'm sure if you really put your mind to it, you'll get hooked. Just remind yourself of all the benefits smoking provides. |
