Alright! It's been quite a while since my last DEMO RELEASE.... (Sugar Coated , march 06)
But here is my latest edition I whipped up one night not too long ago on the fly...
*BITTER SWEET*
It starts off with a housey vibe to it, lots of vocals.. then it goes into an electro feel with some big tunes I am in love with right now then finishes off quite nicely ;)...
Let me know what you think, how it compares to Sugar Coated, whatever :)

You know how I felt in regards to 'Sugar Coated'.........been so long since then. Glad to see a new set. I'm downloading it now and giving it a listen!
By the way, did this set stem from the repercussions of study time (or procrastination) while at Ryerson? :haha: Nothing like some good beats to kill time... |

Great set! Good flow from start to finish, some real emotional songs in there (esp. the Led Zeppelin remix, wow, the vocals and lyrics!). Also, the Chris Lake Mashup is top notch. I've heard this track mashed up so many times, but this Sultan Mashup is is fantastic!
Interesting turn of mood when you brought in Moonlight Party by Fonzerelli, but worked well.
You mixing throughout has been of great quality. Tracks are blended at timely moments, EQing is smooth through out. Only thing I sort of disliked is the length of your transitions. I would have liked to hear the transitions a little longer, but it definitely didn't draw any energy from the set. You packed 14 tracks into 80 minutes, which is roughly 5:45 per song, so you did a great job and the short mixes went hand in hand with the track lengths.
Score: 7.5 / 10
Skills are fantastic, track selection is solid. Slightly lacking real drive throughout the set, but that might just be me looking for it. I recommend this set to everyone who enjoys this style. This isn't 100% my style, which accounts for most of the lost score I gave. |

The mixes aren't too short.. The only short one is when zeplin starts. When the mashup is being mixed in, it's a super long mix, same with the Jake Chec one and Nic F. Keep in mind this isn't prog house so the mixes are as long as they can be before they sound distorted or, just ty. LOL :stongue: But ya thx for the ongoing support and opinion!! :happy2:
Now time to make some dinner, go to volleyball.. AND MAYYYBE start my essay.. MAYBE. |

I'm not too familiar with Electro, but I liked this set. It's also good to see someone else using higher quality bitrates, for their sets. I've heard a lot of good sets, played on lower bitrates, which entirely killed the mood.
