If you listen to the samples, the instruments sound all weird when the vocal is taken out. If you're happy with a low-quality instrumental, sure, vocal removal works fine. :p

Sometimes I really thought: What the hell is this guy talking . And other times I thought you finally got some sense knocked into you... But now I am sure, you most def where talking :D

The strange anomalies that occur both in sound and in the stereo field that when using vocal removal tools such as the one you mentioned are very annoying. To consider that the Izotope is probably one of the better ones makes it even worse, meaning quite some other packages won't even get close and will make it even worse!
