thanks to everyone that came out. i was busy deflecting drunken men from trying to take my mom home after i was finished playing so sorry if i didnt get a chance to say hi to any of you. ben im glad you are still alive.

nice set by Blake too, it had a really nice flow and feel. only caught the tail end of RJ's. it was damn hot in there, thats one of very few complaints.

"that place is nothing but hate. it should be called hateaddict."

lol. thanks to andy best line ever. jennifer where were you i looked all over the club for you! happy bday though :D

Haha, I was so blitzed I think I meant to say where's Josh but called him Josh instead and then for some reason I mentioned TA to distinguish that I knew the difference between them and he was not a fan. Had a great time though going between Four and Vision. Nothing beats showing up to Vision and running into Rubin with a double fist round of Amstel. Thanks Rubin! Great to see everyone, one of the most fun times at Vision, though I didn't get to meet Blake's mom, who I've heard is quite hot. Also +1 on the REM remix, nice!

I've got a dumb question. I'm not much of a clubber but I went to the show last night (which I thought was great).

Anyways, we bought our tickets on the pf site but still had to pay the $15 at the door. I'm not worried about fifteen dollars that much, but I'm wondering what that money was for?

Oh yeah, FIRST POST!

the cover is used to pay the people that throw the events... the promotional group (pure) is a separate entity than the club in this case, so they'll take the cover and the club takes money from alcohol sales. symbiosis.

this varies a lot sometimes, but that's the general idea.

anyone have a tracklist for g&d?

I remember these:

Gabriel & Dresden vs. Jase From Outta Space - Arcadia vs. Do What You Want (Dave Dresden Mashup)
Eric Prydz vs. Pink Floyd - Proper Education (Dub Mix)
Mark Knight - Susan
REM - The One I Love (Blake Jarrel Remix)
Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars (Blake Jarrell Remix)
Andain - Beautiful Things (sounded like g&d unplugged remix)
Rachael Starr - Till There Was You (Gabriel & Dresden's 12 Step Program)
Trentemoller - Always Something Better (Trentemolller Dub Mix)

not in any particular order

the sedna / motorcycle thing was actually pretty decent.

lol - That's only funny to me because in the thread for it, the whole argument for it being a solid tune was that it went down well live... Guess I was wrong! :p
UWM
Sedna obviously does most of the work. The vocals didn't really add anything spectacular, but they didn't detract from the original either.

who dropped Nostalgia? was it Blake?

I had a blast Saturday night! Excellent sets by RJ and Blake! I was pretty impressed with G&D that night after hearing many negitive comments about their show in LA. It was nice to meet some Chicago TAs... Jen of course, Ben, Seneca, Nikos, delobbo..

Ben - big hangover on Sunday?? :p

They also dropped 'John Tejada - The End Of It All' :o and I also remember hearing 'Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek (I think it was the Mike Monday remix)'...
