| yeah it is more powerful than coke, but its not the same effect..you just feel more alert and energetic, but it dosent make your heart pump so fast like coke does..also you can do little bumps and get a nice effect, you don't have to do lines like you do with coke. Coke gives off anxiety and i didn't get that the times i did meth. |

it was such a wacky, fun weekend and i enjoyed it that i would never do it again. don't want to ruin my opinion of the drug. |

what? i don't really trust getting meth down here...would never do it. my ex's buddies from minnesota brought it down and swore left and right that you just can't get that kind of 'glass' down here. i believe them. best damn high i ever had. so clean and stable and like DO said...no paranoia or heart racing. it was great.
my only issue with it was that i didn't do the mandatory meal thing. it was my first time and i just couldn't bring myself to eat and no one really paid attention to me not eating for 3 days. so when i finally ended it and slept for a day and then woke up, i had the most horrible pains all over my stomach/chest. went to the ER 2 days later and my potassium levels were so low, i had to be on a potassium drip for about 8 hours. not fun. it burns so bad going into your blood stream.
but even that ER visit didn't change my opinion of the drug. i realized it was stupid on my behalf not to at least drink a protein shake or 2. oh well. lesson learned. |

Nothing :) I just found it kinda funny when you said you didn't wanna try it again because you didn't want a bad impression of it. :) Not criticizing or anything (I've never done anything beyond weed and alcohol), just an lol. |

| Tried the stuff only once. It's def. strong and kept me awake into the next day, which was a def. advantage since I was still partying that entire weekend. |

You have stated some very strong points in here, no one has argued not to do the drug. Is there anyone who can relate with the pictures above? I've seen documentaries and all, maybe they are all anti-drug documentaries portraying only one side of the story.
Like all drugs, the short-term effect are appealing to almost everyone. However, i do believe meth is one of those drugs that can affect your life, seriously.
We all have different levels of morality. I smoke pot and drink alcohol. I've done other things before, but uppers are not my thing, i have adhd so i have enough energy to turn my house upside down in a glimpse. Hehe

Okay, had to make a new TA SN for a post like this...
I tried meth for the first time over the spring of this year. Ended up doing it every day for 3 or 4 months. I think it's appeal was the increased efficiency of functionality that it produces. It was great for writing papers all night for school, and great for a corporate job I had which demanded I work long hours, not leaving much time to sleep or do much of anything. During the months of use I became extremely efficient at work as far as productivity, and amount of hours worked was concerned. I got a promotion and a raise within the time frame. I never made so much money in my life. Food pretty much beacme a non-existant part of my day. What little sleep I got at night I spent grinding my teeth and woke up in pain every morning. Eventually I damaged my teeth to the point where it hurt to eat single grains of rice. Moreoevr, I couldn't even force down most morsels of food without gaging. Eventually I gave up and stuck to water. I lost something like 80 pounds, a good part of which was muscle. It eventually hurt to take steps walking, lift anything heavier than an envelope, and of course, it hurt to speak, eat and drink but meth kept me going. I'd have to say I looked visibly wasted pretty much all the time, but was still able to function just as well as ever. I guess as far as partying is concerned, E pretty much relieved my muscle pain temporarily, but increased teeth grinding. After months, I woke up one morning in more pain than I'd like to remember, with my mouth full of blood. I went to the bathroom to look in the mirror to find blood pouring out of most of my teeth, from the center of each tooth, not out of the gums. A lot of my teeth were cracked, though thankfully my teeth were all still in tact except for one which had completely fallen apart over the months. After assessing the damage I snorted a few lines, took some pain killers and headed in to work. Over the months I spent thousands on meth. I started out at $100's at a time and progressed to $500 and $600 at a time. With all the money I was making, I opened a savings account to go along with my checking, and began banking thousands, only to deplete all my accounts in order to buy more meth as the months wore on.
I'm going to have to blame divine intervention for getting me off the stuff. Oddly, everything fell apart all around the same time for me. I was laid off my job. My dealer was arrested. I was left with no meth, no income, no savings, a new semester at school for which I had no means of paying, and rent was due. I had completely cut my friends out of my life so they were gone as well, with the exception of some very veeerry close ones who helped me out.
Without meth I was pretty disheveled. All of the muscle pain that meth helped me to ignore really hit me. All the time spent not eating hit me HARD as well.
Hate to cut myself off but I'll have to wrap up this story later on. I'm at work right now. |
