theres a lot of trouble in france as well..especially in paris just now. some of the fans even attacked the players at a training session! theres more about it on james richardson's football blog for the guardian.

what i don't understand is how you feel like you are representing your team, country, area, whatever in a good way by acting like total @ssholes. hooliganism is the only reason i never went to a sporting event while i was in eastern europe

My parents used to live in Rotterdam and my father's an avid Feyernoord fan, I've only watched them play twice at the De Kuip stadium but they're quite a rowdy set of fans.
