| I've seen oakey quite a few times and while I don't like his commercial club style of trance and the fact he uses cd's instead of vinyl. I still think he's a damn good dj for the basis that he's dislexic and see's everything backwards! As to the list,..well you can't read the sheeps manual for idiocracy and expect to get all the latest in sheparding your loyal undergound following. |

mate this is the 21st century get over vinyl, most dj's have and they only use it because its easier and you have alot more options on cd. im sure oakenfold could rock vinyl like no other back in the day, hes been in long enough to know how so who gives the .
anyway oakenfold is a legend regardless of how he may be now, maybe lots will argue that hes pretty and always has been but by no means does he deserve to be in the worst 50 artists of all time, as an artist he has still had his moments. |

| That's pretty ing sad that some of you think vinyl is dead. Your right CD's are easier. I guess that's why I hear about so many new wannabe DJ's who sound like complete and have absolutely No musical skill whatsoever? The bottem line is vinyl is the domminant media for underground music,....I don't know how it is in your country but in mine it's almost impossible to find good underground tracks on CD's. Also I guess that's why we (Americans) invented turntablism and the Technics world championships are still using turntables instead of CDJ's to compete with huh? |
