Firstly your on TA, everyone here gets a sense of purpose in life, and an air of superioiry when they put down other people's opinions or lack of knowledge.
Secondly, people have the right to be of the opinion that your opinion is stupid, otherwise you wouldn't be respecting their right to have an opinion on your opinion
Thirdly, people like to criticise America, especially if they feel insecure about their own nation. Many just want to imagine that their country's entire economic and political future isn't based on their alliances and trade relations with the US. |
