| My sig is new as well. lol, I just seem to have an urge to create stuff recently :rolleyes: Iam quite pleased with the headphones and the sillouette of my face as they both had to be traced and I usually find the pen tool quite hard to use. |

| If you're even thinking of handing this in, please note that in the second bottom line you have misspelled 'Paddington,' unless of course there is a tube stop in London, that I somehow forgot, called Paddition. |

To continue on that, I think I once saw a DJ that had a name pretty close to "Chris Leibing". Forgot who it was, though.
Overall, I would only be (be it mildly) impressed by the names on the flyer, not at all by the design. Try some borders around the different area line-ups, with a different (darker) background colour of yellow / brownish in it.. Might look a lil' better already. |

I can beat that
In March when PvD came out the promotors made official flyers for the night with "Paul van Dyke"
Thankfully they got it right before they were widely distributed. Plenty of people saw though |

If I was doing it I'd probebly have found a pic of fire and used that and messed about with it but that's maybe a cleaner way of doing it.
Anyway IMHO Because you've got "Tasty" and "Heat" one under the other it leave too much dead space at either side at the top. Or maybe move bit to one side to let you chuck in a picture or something? Since I recon you want to keep the red/organge colours maybe do something like have a half tone (using maybe red) pic of a deck or girl winking? Dunno need to keep the balance of the thing though.
Also the Arenas should be in much bigger text I recon (not sure abotu the exact colour of that text either seems a bit out against the other colours used), know when you looking at it on a screen it looks huge but when you print it it'll look the right size bigger. And I'd left justify the left arena center justify the middle and right justify the right side (dunno what it's look like maybe just ceneter them all?). To see if that helped, dunno if would look good or not but I'd try it.
And I'd move the Psy one in a bit, with most left part leaving the same margin to the right of the flyer as the Techno one has to the left. Looks off balance just now a bit (kinda why I was wondering what it's look like with altered justifications).
Dunno if that makes and/or helps but that what I'd try myself like. Looks not bad witht he flames and that though. |
