Guantanamo bay exists, and there are torture jails your government funds, i think it would take place given the circumstances are extreme. |

Dumbest thing you could do. The government would than pick you up and you would disappear.
If people disappeared it won't be anything like the USSR or Nazis Germany. The majority of Americans are not a threat even if they talk big. So there wouldn't be much need for many people to disappear. Just the real threats to the government stability. |

Bush has been grilled about gitmo... Hell, I'm not condoning that , but something that is so far away that I don't know what's truth and what is fabricated is kind of hard to have an opinion.

I dunno about that, they've been extraordinarily efficient about punching through some 'dodgy' civil rights, surveilance and FOI stuff last few years and no one seemed to have cared about those.
They'll probably care even less if its full of the man with the tan and mexicans. |
