To be more specific; the lexus IS 250.
Why? Cause it looks simple awesome, test drove 1 the other day, and a very very smooth ride, typical lexus.Has tiptronic option btw..but i found it quite useless. Been weighing my options with a GOLF GTI, but i actually think the lexus IS brings more bang for my buck. From the reviews, it has a decent FC which is important to me. Has a small back seat area but i dont really give a about people at the back.
Guys what dya think?

I'm getting a new car too! I was looking at the IS250 as well as a GTI :wtf:
I decided on the GTI, it's way more sex and I'm pretty sure it can eat that Lexus :p |

| Go with the IS 350 instead. Im thinking about that one & i test drove one not too long ago. It handles great & rides smooth like a Lexus should. Also it has alot more balls then the 250. |

Those new IS's are not as nice as the old old ones. I am not fond of how the rear end seems wider then the front end. Plus I dont like how the side mirrors are placed.
Have you considered a BMW 330i?

Exactly what i thought. But you can get a better used car for the price you will be paying for a new one. M3 :) |

All Lexus's are like that. I was doing 140 mph on the highway in mine & my gf at the time was complaining that she was scared, so i slowed down to 110mph & told her we were doing 70. It drives so smooth & quiet that she belived me lol :p |

this is typical for a mid-size saloon car.I mean look at the bmws to the audis. they tend to make the back wheels look smaller. Guys who dont like it will usually just compensate by buying larger rims for the back but i think its stupid and just a waste of cash..
I do agree with u that the OLD ones like the mid 90s lexus looked awesome even today.. |

That's a very beautiful car, and definitely would be on the top of my list if I was buying a car and had the money. Not to mention Lexus' are the most reliable cars on the planet.

The problem is, the 350 doesn't come in manual, not sure if that matters to the original poster or not though. |
