apparently, evil bastard evil_bastard is spamming us with the made up trance genres like "municipal hardcore" and "rhethoric trance"

>>>Thanx Tijsinthemix :D<<<

This topic's wack... :p :stongue:

Hmmmz... seems the DJs in my local club are getting really into Butter-toast Drum n Bass... Though I think I'll stick with the traditional Mentally-Impared-But-Still-Has-Rights-Like-All-Of-Us Hardcore, thank you.

Note: I've developed quite a liking to Ashtray Garage and Oily Funk

progressiveTrance is a subgener of trance..
Any dj and producer know that Progressive is part of trance and they call it progressive because people percieve it differently
PS

You're right up to a point. Although I would argue that medieval techno is in a class of its own.

Blatant overkill is rather irritating subgenre of spam 'n' bass.

Obvious house has been around since before even DJ Genecide spun his first belligerent breakbeat, which makes me wonder why DJ Gandhi and MC Stabwound are still releasing records like "shorpe" and "millenium headbutt".

My favourite is a bit of dangerous acid with catastrophic drum n bass, all thrown over the top of some steaming suspicous garage, lightly simmered for 5 minutes with genetic hardcore. Sprinkle on some nice wooden synths and you get a damn tasty tune that will get the crowds JUMPIN!

hmmmmm.....lol :toothless :toothless :toothless might grab some two minute noodles now

Progressive's OK, and hard trance too if I can be bothered; but call me daggy -- I can't get enough uplifting/epic :)
