i've been using winamp since '99. havn't had a problem in 7 or 8 years :) |

| hah.. Winamp is not perfect - but I too have been a happy Winamp user since its inception. And if Winamp is unstable, then iTunes must be a set of incomplete truncated beta source code. |

ok...
I can understand your frustration if you were using iTunes + iPod...
but using a program that was NOT designed to update your iPod is definitely contributing to your troubles!!!
our good buddy Jerry who is more or less pro Windows hasn't had any issues either man...
i say get itunes and be done with it |

I'll never turn to the dark side!!!!
serious tho - I had itunes on my PC before - it was the source of many troubles so I uninstalled it. I refuse to use it. I would frankly rather not use my ipod, than use itunes to update it. I will get Winamp working with it again. :) I have to recreate my playlists and everything, but its not the end of the world, I can accept the fact that ipods suck, I can deal with it. ;P |
