if tiesto quits, Black Hole would have a seriously big financial problem. he is the moneymaker that pays the bills
doubt he will quit soon |

1. health concern
2. not feeling the music genre that made him famous that fans expect
= alienated fans
= alienated further by tiesto spinning what he wants (read: tech-house)
3. he can't play clubs anymore, only stadiums.. otherwise its health risk for the clubbers/promoter/anyone in area...
= alienated fans
= mixed up set of tijs wanting to play tech-house and underground style, and bloated big room trance, flooding a 15'000 show, where mandarine girl gets put on and the crowd just stand there
I don't know.. he doesn't have any reason to retire at all does he? |
do you think there's a chance next year he plays more house based sets than this year? even though by the looks of his tracklists he has played diverse genres in many sets, switching more to house which is nice to hear...
do you think he will release a minimal track in his next album? I don't know, even though minimal is the "new electro" in terms of popularity, I don't think his fanbase would be able to actually understand the genre, let alone like it so they buy the album... and sadly this business is all about money, but who knows... This might be a good chance for him to try and educate his crowd and to let them know there's a world out there besides "trance". |

No, he won't. He still hasn't jumped on the 'electro' house bandwagon, and is already falling behind AvB and Marco V on that front.
Can the Dutch even DO minimal? |
