Hi, Ive been "messing around" with music production on and off for what seems to be a few months now and I think i finally made a track worthy of sharing with someone :)

| First thing would be to learn some scales, minor and major ;-) |

As I said on a number of occations now (with the risk of not being taken seriously about it anymore) I don't like to be negative in my reviews, but at this time I can't hold back...
You must be close to tonedeaf. If you thought this was worth sharing, then what did your previous work sound like.... :conf:
Sorry, but this goes straight down the bin...
MG
Ps. Eventhough I just cut you down by the feet I must insist that you keep trying. There are still parts of the track that comes together just fine |

not bad for a first song, but sentinel is right, what i would recommend is run your bass as solo and your synths as solo, and lower or increase your synths the the point when it will sound "right" with the bass, practice will make it perfect, thats called perfect pitch my friend
p.s. dont let negative feedbacks hold you back, infact it takes years to develop just the right style, if you really want to learn to produce, going from failure to failure without loosing your enthusiasm is a must |

Hey man, i commend you for sharing. I think what everyone is talking about is the notation. None of the notes make sense with each other. When they say learn some scales, what they mean is that your different intruments must all coincide. In your mix, literally only 1/16 of he notes fit together. If you would be willing to send me a midi I can show you a before and after. I think you wil be surprised! But I have to admit... this is bad! :(
I think your idea is great and, damnit... please keep trying!!!
Please don't get turned off by anyone's remarks, especially mine. Believe it or not, we are trying to help. |
