Yes, lunch w/Marco V was short but sweet. Ate at Eggspectation where we had the most forgetful waiter on earth :whip: and had a very interesting discussion about Trance Energy 'politics'. He said that he thought that TE is one of the best parties thrown in Holland, but if u play it, its sorta like career suicide, and he wouldn't get booked for other big events if he did. Aparently trance is very looked down upon in Holland and has been for years.

Hey Rook, my buddy's car got broken into in that same parking lot.. they took his system and my boots...s i tell ya..
But otherwise, the nite was brilliant!! This was my first time seeing Marco V, I ditched Tiesto cause I saw him last time he came in May, no complaints about that show either..but I heard about P Diddy showing up?? haha, that'd be interesting
My fav tune of the nite was Cosmic Gate - Consciousness, i absolutely love that track, very progressively uplifting, great club track. And the music in the other rooms was quite good aswell. Even the DJ who came on after Marco at 4 (M. Oliver, i think) kept the party alive.. thoroughly enjoyed Traffic, a little taste of what was happening at the Docks i guess, haha |
