Do Not Order Anything From Topdjgear.com

I placed an order for torq over 2 weeks ago from this place, but still haven't received it. Within this wait period, I did not receive a single notice from them about it. I thought, maybe the item is currently not on stock or whatever.. so I kept waiting until now.
They have got the worst customer service ever. I decided to give them a call today, because even after sending e-mails about this situation, there was no reply. When I called them, I followed their instructions and directed myself to the onine order rep. Shortly after, some guy picked up, so I told him I had a question about my online order and explained the situation, but as soon as I mentioned that my order still haven't arrived, this guy straight up hung up on me saying he only deals with retail. Ok, so I was like WTF.. I called them back... and this time directed myself to their customer service rep. Well, the same ****** picked up the phone and he hung up on me again. Ok, so I was really angry this time, so I called back and directed myself to their retail.. Well, what do you know, the same jerk off picked up, so I demanded to speak to the manager, but once again blew me off. :whip: :whip:

This isn't the first time... I ordered a power dial for one of my technics turntable over a month ago, but haven't seen or heard about it yet. (I don't know why I ordered from them again)
My friend also had a bad experience with these ******s. He received a defected Nuo2 from them, and when he tried to get a refund, they just kept telling him it would be credited in few days for 2 months. He had to call his credit card company to contact them themselves to have it finally refunded.

Anyways, never order anything from TOPDJGEAR.com

Isn't there some kind of consumer affairs you can threaten them with or call and complain to? The threat of of consumer affairs normally scares a lot of dodgy retailers.

yeah i was gonna buy my cdj 1000 mk3's on ebay, but then i thought there are to many serious consequences. so i bought locally and i know i have piece of mind and i keep peoples jobs;)
and its just as a better price! so shop local before you go out spending somewhere else! my 1 cent.

I dunno, I've been to Top DJ Gear a few times (they are also the same place as Satellite Records) and its a record store/retail shop, probably one of the bigger ones in NYC. They also have a full online store "department". So they are a leigt company.

I dont understand why the hell they are hanging up on you tho

The better business bureau with local chapters all around the country.

If the retailer is not a BBB member it makes it more difficult for the BBB to put pressure on them and force them into a resolution.

Topdjgear.com has been known as being somewhat dodgy for as long as I can recall. Perhaps I am mistaken with names but I think this is far from being the first fime I hear complaints about them.

if you're in los angeles, check out "quality electroinics" in hollywood. they're pretty good. i wish my neighbor would have told me about them, before i bought my m5g's. i had a miserable experience w/astro's. i refuse to recommend cosmos's either, 2 thumbs down to them also.

i don't think they have a computer set up, so you check out stuff like torq, or serrato... but they do stock software. so if you already know that you want to buy somehting, talk to the guy w/glasses. he will take care of you. he won't BS you like the people at astros did to me. -i don't want to talk about it...

well.. i'm still waiting... wrote another e-mail about the issues couple days ago, and finally received reply saying that they're sorry and they will contact me right away after finding out the status of my order. 2 more days have passed since and nothing once again... What a total waste of time this is.. :o
