I really like his productions, especially his new style. It makes a nice change from the majority of stuff I've heard played around lately.
I'd really like to see him live, but I think it'd have to be a longer set for me. I've heard some of his shorter ones and they're too full of his own work, but I guess that's what happens.
I just hope he doesn't turn into what PVD used to do and make every production and remix sound the same.

I see where many of you are coming from when you view his LEF album poorly. I think that LEF is just of refreshing. It is an album I'd listen to for fun. It definitely isn't like his previous works, but that is okay with me. He wanted to try something different, and I think he succeeded.

I agree with the majority here. His new stuff, whilst being good, is not a patch on the Ferry of old. The guy has a back catalogue of pure classics.

Shows his real roots in 01 ,but without any ID :(

I was a big fan of Right Of Way and his sound during the RoW era a few years ago. I definitely loved the buildups in tracks like Star Traveler, Right Of Way and Kyoto but I dunno, LEF just didn't cut it for me. I also liked the tracks he spun during his mixes a bit more back then as well. He's still a solid DJ but as I'm not a fan of the direction he's recently taken I don't listen to him as much as I used to.

Again like most here I prefer his remixes - he can stand well on his own but his remix talent is awesome.

As big a trance fan i am, i've never really gotten into Ferry.
Never hated his stuff, but just never REALLY got into 'em

Could probably list more and more!

Not really feeling his newer stuff, Cubikated is good though, sounds great on a big soundsystem.

Take a look at his live sets over that past year or so, every other tune he plays is a ferry production.

His best set, is his 2hour mix on radio one in March 2000. :eyes:
