On the contrary, Ferry was one of the few people around 2003 who made any effort to save it.

Trance will only be dead when there is no one producing it and we have a ways to go before that.

On a personal note, if you are fond of EDM and think there is not original, quality trance being produced (including all sub genre's) then I suggest you do some research with your ears.

Psytrance is where it's at.

Interesting point:
I haven't seen anyone who's said this actually giving any examples.

There have been many, many threads saying Uplifting Trance (in reference to the first post) is dead. If that user wants to, he can use the search engine, I'm not going to waste my time putting up tracks that are new just for everyone on here to say "oh this is just typical ASOT crap" and start a playground war since that's how pathetic some of these threads can become. I was just trying to be optimistic, really.

Vibrasphere (Archipelago) have been mentioned a bazillion times. It's just that nobody seems to give a flying fook :)

i just got into the trance/ambient music scene myself but it seems that now young entrepenures are finding it easy to make music all you need is a synthesyzer and a good program and someone will produce you. there are some young cats out there who can hold there own but they're smart and haven't went mainstream many others just want the money and synonomity of being a DJ.
