I only bite my nails in order to help build up my immune system.
My body is always constantly trying to fight off germs due to nail-biting that my immune is tough as (a real bruiser!) and rarely lets itself get whipped by illness caused from germs. :whip: :whip: |

Well...the rationale behind why hand dryers are not as hygienic is that they create a nice environment for bacteria to live. Dark, warm, and moist.
I don't know if anything's actually been proven about it though. I'll find out what my instructors have to say about it. |

Don't rub your eyes with dirty fingers/hands either! You can flush bacteria and resident flora down through the sinuses into the upper respiratory tract and give yourself an infection!
edit: I misread your post. But my advice still stands! |

I saw on TV once that in reality, you are suppose to wash your hands for at least 30 seconds. 10-15 seconds does not take away the bacteria. I also have hand sanatizer on my desk and usually in my purse at all times. |
You should be washing your hands the entire length of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"
and it's more fun than counting |

I forsee a trip to Kabul in the future for you, Marg.

The yellowish haze you see in the skyline is a mixture of pollution. Dirt, waste, dried dung, etc.
The locals wear some sort of scarf to cover the nose and mouth, to prevent that from getting into you. (Well, smart ones and ones that could afford it anyways)
IIRC, avg life expectancy in Afghanistan it like 42. |

My immune system was well cultivated by my mom when I was a baby and she had to feed me dirt cuz there was nothing else back in communist Poland. |
