As much as I'd love to say England will win it, I don't think we will, We have no left sided player, Vassell is awfully overrated, he's only scored 13 goals @ senior level... the nevilles are askign for trouble, Nicky Butt doesn't play regular but makes it, we need Joe Cole, Dyer, Hargreaves and Bowyer to have a chance but we won't take many of them or play them  So my money would be on the Spanish, Raul, Urzaiz, Diego Tristan, Xavi etc are awesome

My pick is those boys from France but if not them, ANYBODY BUT ARGENTINA!!!!!!!
G K Murray
We may see a shock this time round!!

i want germany to win cuz its my country but they always have old s on there national team so i doubt they win until they let the fresh legs of germany play...... otherwise i dont care about any other country

Personally i think Argentina, Italy and France are 3 out of the 4 semifinalists ... for the fourth i'm expecting a black horse (Cameroon ? Nigeria ?) but i won't be surprised if Brazil or England makes it. :toothless

Me say France but i hope it will be Italy...they have classy strikers like Vieri, Delvechio, Montella, Chiesa (still injured?)

....Inzaghi, Totti, Zola(still active?) all can wreck havoc upfront. I just hope Maldini and Del Piero are in good health come the tourney. There's also rumblings that Roberto Baggio might be added to the team, although likely to carry bags and pass out water bottles despite the pressure from fans to have him in the starting line up, his injury really messed him over.

I also like Portugal and Spain's chances.

France, nobody can beat them...

Zidane, Henry, Wiltord, Trezeguet, Desailly, Lizarazu, Barthez, Thuram, Vieira...
The greatest players of european clubs at this moment are all french, and the difference with Brazil (where there also are great players) is that the french ones can play together in the national team: they have an incredible collective...
