WAHHHHHHHHH NO NEC for me!!!! :( :( :( :( :(
I left things to late and found out that i can't really afford it. It would cost me 45-50 for ticket, 40 for cyberdog t shirt, 50-60 for train ticket and 30 on booze, and thats about 200! I really wanted to be there

Just to sum up be4 everyone is leaving :
a) We have an appointment beetween let say 4.00 P.M for the early TA's and 7.00 P.M for the late ones to a pub next to the holiday inn called "the owl".
b) we don't have an meeting point during the party in the N.E.C.
Am i right on both ?
Is the pub easy to locate when i'll be in front of the holiday inn ? |

i think our best bet is to.... all meet at the pub as planned, stay together whilst going in.... then find a place of significance, then agree to it as a meet up spot.... cos i will have to juggle being with you lot, and being with my fellow crasherkidz.
hmm, it sounds like i devised this plan only thinking of me............

| well i think most of us are staying in discotech all night, so if we find sumwhere we can all dance/hang at the side it would be excellent coz thered always be sumwhere there in theory! good idea? well not really an idea, it was probably gonna happen without us all noticing anyway! |

Last year we were on the left-side of the stage (facing the stage) underneath a BBC banner....if it's there again we can meet there (even if the banner's gone)
it was a quiet and really danceable spot :) And close to the dj's might they decide to join us :p |

| You guys & gals make sure u have a blinder, I really wish I was going, Next time the Holiday to Lanzarote can sod off until after I've booked tickets etc, Have a great time there, even if you don't remember it all, and watch out for a lad with short ginger hair who can't dance and looks out of place, that'll be my mate matt :p He'll probably turn up in jeans and a fleece or something stupid. Just make sure u get some good pictures too :D |

Ello all,
Bit late i know, but i have spent the last 2 months trying to find the proper offical thread for the NEC meetup. And thats no ! lol! But this one will do, thanks to Miss Proximus this thread has some relevance rather than ppl just going on and on about how a DJ Jules is.
Tomorrow is going to be my first major dance event. I been to slinkys a few times but tomorrow is going to be unreal i do feel. One of my mates who was comin (non - TA) has just dropped out. His car blew up last night and he seems to think he cant afford to come along any more even though he has a ticket. So, if anyone is without a ticket...i have one going for £40.
I am coming along with me mate Dave C who is a TA. We aint been posting for long so you lot may not know us like you do Spad etc. I know Spad from chatting on ICQ and he has my mobile fone number and if he remembers amidst the hassle of moving home...he will fone me around 7pm which is the time we are lookin at arriving. Then hopefully we can find the Pub and get some drinks in before the evenings festivities. If anyone has any help of finding the pub and mostly finding the meetup, unless anyone has any objections of me and Dave meetin you that is, then it'd be great if u cud let me know by posting a reply.
Anyhow im off for a session on the decks.
