I wonder who thier target market is? myspace'n dj was my guess...still a funny add.:wtf:

Well, it's a just good way of advertising. It's true that a good number of top DJs write into their contract that they be provided a A&H Xone:92 mixer or another A&H mixer (like PvD w/ the Xone:3D)...

...and A&H is using that fact to their advantage.

My guess is there are a few A&H things like this with different DJs.
Psiweaver
Yeah and I must say after owning an A & H mixer I can understand why you wouldn't want to use anything else if given the choice.

That mixer SUCKS ASS!!! I hate it with a passion! I'm glad it got discontinued! I think I rather mix with a Radio Shack Mixer than a Tascam X9.

The 800 is a nice mixer and has great effects but theres lots of little things I do not like at all about it. The sound quality in the headphones is , its way too bassy, and I dont like the cue system setup much. I do like the large VU meters and smooth faders.

lol +1 that thing has way too much useless crap going on :p

I forgot to add that the Xone 92 rotary ing owns.

The Xone 32 is kinda a pain in the ass, but my guess is the 62 and 92 are much better.

I've got that same add except with Diggers instead of Lawrence featured. :D

Hahahaha when we had the Xone 92 Rotary @ Element, en Bas HATED IT! hahahahaha

I actually kinda prefer rotary mixers...I just have an easier time with them when it comes to working the volume controls. Find them much smoother. I tend to be a bit jerky with regular ole faders.

This is based off my experiece with a rane rotary years ago. :p

I think it may be largely because doing video production and working with sound boards, most of the ones I used up until a few years ago were rotary themselves.
