Both of these have absolutely stunning sound quality, I always listen with the 7506s unless I need to be on the move and they wouldn't be practical - in which case I'll switch to the Bang & Olufsen ones.

I'm thinking of a second set of DJ/Production headphones and like the 7506 as heard good things about them for years I like the enhanced frequency response and large drivers on thos new Denon cans too, but I've already red numerous reports of cracks etc. What you guys think?

The absolute hands down choice are the 7506s for 3 reasons:

1: Utterly stunning sound with awesome frequency response.
2: Unbelievable comfort. I'd rather wear mine than not!
3: Durablity - these things will last, they are built like tanks.

Buy some, and if you don't like them I'll buy them off you as a second pair for myself. I believe in these headphones!

sennheiser mx500. bought these when i bought my mp3 player as the ones that came with the player sucked hard. these are good, but slightly too big for my ears. these have a slightly too short cord too.

:D

got those too, i second your post, very good quality but slightly uncomfortable in your ears. and a bit short, anyway, certainly better than the ipod headphones
