| not the video game type but when the hyper goes down and the Wii demos at stores aren't always crowded with people I'll consider playing with one for gits and shiggles. |

2 things
Myra, Rob and all of the other owners... had any issues with the teenie Wiinie straps yet? Or do you game in moderation
Second is for the Gamecube game owners of the Wii.... how does the motion control work with those, or is it like the old cube where you just use your controller... and if so... does the wiimote and extension have enough buttons?

The Wiimote don't work with Gamecube games. It'd be sick if it did though. Imagine Resident Evil 4 with motion control? OMG!!

| my roommate got one of these first day it came out, definitely a lot alot of fun. he told me it was the best thign ever, i didnt believe him until i got to play it. i played the sports games, bowling and tennis, hell yea =). i played a little bit of zelda too, but only like 1 minute cuzi had to go. also its fun to make the little mii's. of the three wii's ive seen, all three had a hitler mii, haha |

No doubt about that.
But they CAN screw up a title, you know? :/ I certainly hope they won't seeing as how the Metroid Prime team was catered to in the creation of the Wii remote (interesting read... somewhere on the net :p). |

I remember that article. They were responsible for the nunchaku attachment because none of their games would work with just the Wiimote, so Nintendo decided to create it and ultimately, pack it in with the console too.
And yea, I guess they could screw it up...but the chances of it are incredibly small :p |

true, but the system comes with a wiimote+nunchacku
srsly, i've mostly just played zelda so far
wii sports when my friends are around, but good lord
