my gfs friends are going to a gay club cause one of them is gay. i was invited and i was going to go until i found out where they were going....
now she's calling me a homofob, but in my defence, i can tollerate gay people i know. i can even tollerate gay people i dont know...but theres somthing unsettling about being in a dark place where everyones drunk and all guys are presumed homosexual.
what do i do? :nervous: |

Go, but wear an "I'M STRAIGHT" cap and be sure to grab tightly your girlfriend for the entire stay in the club.
That way you 'll go unnoticed. |

STOP BEING SO IGNORANT! ...if you're going with your gf, then why are you worried? just like you can usually tell if gay guys are gay, they can usually tell that straight guys are straight. grow some balls, take your girl by the arm, go out and have a good time. |

tell her that a phobia is
a persistent, irrational fear of a specific object, activity, or situation that leads to a compelling desire to avoid it.
the key word being "IRRATIONAL"
then explain that you have a perfectly rational reason for not wanting to be around gays. The shiny stinky upper lip and rounded cherub cheeks of the murmuring homosexuals glancing up and down your pants attempting to discern your length is more than discomfiting. They associate with a stereotyped identity to proclaim themselves to others of their association and you prefer individuals who have forged their characters out of experience, values, morals, and intellect instead of a desperate attempt to raise the cat-tail of class and show the of gayness. |
