It's COMPLETELY OK that you post that stuff honestly but my opinion is thats all you're here for. Change the subject matter around, if someone comes on this site and spams some advertisement and thats all they do, don't they usually get banned? So yes it's in your every right to post whatever you want, but remember, there are some constraints around the content and intentions of your post. If you continue with the negatives and the instigating and the 'high horsing', I myself will report you to a mod and I know A LOT of them lol. |

I would use cartridges now with pleasure.:gsmile:
Small chance of damage, no ing download screens, you can save your game on cartridge. CD,DVD, HD-DVD have bigger size, cheaper for developers, but it's only their advantage. Besides i guess now cartridges can have enough space for present-day games. They can cut of useless n hours of videoclips which you can watch 1 time maximum. |

word! SD card or memory stick
funny now some of these flash memories are gonna go way over the dvd capacity, it's already up to 8GB lol...i say ditch the optical diode to read a disc and keep everything on a memorystick and increase the video conversion process to output the proper video signal |

but their cost 100 times higher than DVD:( Besides, guys, if you remember early games cost from 50 to 90$ and more than a half it was prime cost of cartridge, but when games came on CDs they cost 40-60$!!! What the . prime cost of CD with box+paper near a few cents in China, but cartridge's prime cost i don't knnow but was very high to compare with almost 0$ CDs. For example now you can compare DVD which cost also near 10 cents in China and flash card on 4GB which cost near 200$. I dont know prime cost of Flash there, but i guess 50$ or near that. So you can see 500times difference!! Those cartridge days situation was something like that! So you can imagine how more money publishers began to ask from buyers if on cartridges they earn on pure game ( minus cartridge prime cost) near 20-40$ and now all cost of disc with game it's money for pure game (disc cost almost nothing). I think now games cost near 60$ and higher.
I read a lot about publishers didn't want to support N64 due to high prime cost of cartridges. They wanted easy money on PS. I remember early games on it. I saw it and though who needs that crap if on SNES graphics few times better? 3D graphics was terrible, 2D same as SNES but with long loadings. I remember when i played on PS in Mortal Kombat Trilogy, chose Shang Tsung and morphed to someone, game froze for 4-5 second to read data from CD on another fighter, then i could play again, when he turned back it was the same. Honetly i was shocked! |
