I think is complete ridiculous how people have to be so P.C. and sensitive regarding 'Christmas' (there I said the 'C' word).
I don't care if people wish me Merry Christmas, I enjoy it a little as the people are just simply trying to wish me well.
On the flip note, I think how ridiculous Christmas has become in the USA, has lost almost all its religious meaning (IMO it is more of a secular holiday than the celebration of Jesus b-day) With people spending $100s for pagan trees to put more costly ornaments on, and the bizarre pressure people have in purchasing all there distant relationship thousands of dollars worth of gifts...
If the USA didn't have Christmas, I honestly believe the USA would have a saving culture similar to the Japanese :)
I've seen several signs here in the south saying "Put the Christ back in Christmas".
I laughed and laughed
Then I tore them out of the ground and threw them away.

I hear ya brother. I'm sick to death of those damn Semites!:
And what's with Faux News lately? I thought they were waging a successful war against those Christmas bashers with O'Reilly leading the charge. Enough with the "Holiday" bull - put in "Christmas" or else, right?
I expected other news companies to show their disrespect towards Christmas in their annual Christian bashing ritual, but I did not expect this to come from the General in charge of this War to do the same.
Why does Faux News hate the baby Jesus?
Boo. hoo.
Seriously, does it really matter?
There's a judge here in Toronto that seriously getting a smackdown from the public after he ordered a Christmas Tree be taken down.
All local major media has polls on this and every single one that asked if the judge was wrong had a YES vote by over 94%.
Are we expected to walk on egg-shells for everyone?
I got a better idea, grow up!

I don't disagree with you at all really, but the point that I'm attempting to make here (and perhaps at the expense of Shakka's story, sorry about that) is that while I agree the PC stories are ridiculous on the face of things, they tend to continue being the exception and not the rule.
However, you listen to Slanthead (aka Hannity) or O'Reilly, or a number of GOP blowhards, they tend to portray another picture altogether - an all-out war against Christians. So I like showing just how ing hypocritical they can be in the process, and how silly their bombastic claims are overall. Yes these instances are annoying, but they are a far cry from the typical religious-baiting "I-such-a-victim-of-society" fundie Christian mentality certain blowhards are attempting to portray.

Refuse to wear the santa hat, I tied little bells on the ends of my dreads, all it succeeded in doing was irritating my cousins and started the drinking game of drink, until drunk and throw me in the pool because I tinkled too loud.

Sure they do, you forgetting Eid :p? Oh and Dec 25th is the Roman pagan holiday Saturnalia, not the Jewish chaps birthday, that was much earlier. sometime between June and May I think :D.
EDIT: Well, to be fair, a Jewish chap does have his birthday on the 25th (of December), Sir Isaac Newton :toothless.
