WG2002 IS CANCELLED....read on.. (pg. 4)

Hey SS,
I know there are problems but no info to the public has been published. I haven't heard anything about an official cancelation to WG except for the forums on T.A.. How do you plan to let the thousand ticket holders find out if there's no web page up? I thought it was supposed to be up yesterday? Well I just thought I'd post this in sympathy for those that might not get their cash back or make a wasted trip to Toronto.

I'm not holding a ticket for Wintergalactic, but if I was I would be pissed off right now. Not for the fact that this event didn't come together and was cancelled, I don't hold that against you guys, we all know that e happens that we don't have control over. And your intentions were nothing but honest, I know you guys wanted to put on a kick-ass party, and we all wanted to see it happen.
But the way the situation has been handled over the last week is bad. We had to learn that Marco V wasn't coming (indicating the party probably wasn't happening after all) through T.A. when it should have been sonicstate informing us of this. I mean there hasn't even been an official post or notice about what's happening with the party, and this is with only 2 days to go before the date of the party. The website was supposed to be back up on monday, it's now thursday and still nothing. In the last post we heard from you guys you said that the worst thing about this situation is that you lost the trust and respect of the whole scene, and that you hoped to regain it again one day.
Well, each day that goes by that we don't hear anything just makes it worse, and will make it harder for everyone to regain the trust we had for sonicstate. Even if you haven't worked out all the details yet with the make-up party and/or refunds, you should still be keeping your ticket holders updated.
Anyways, I really do hope you guys bounce back from this and go on to throw more of the wikked parties that you're known for! |

WOULD you guys make up your mind and BE PEEKEN honest! WG2 is CANCELLED.. in another thread "Pete" from SS came out said so. Holy , and then you wonder why so many think you're a BUNCH of scammers. I don't know about you, but THAT'S not THE SCENE!

That's the official word folks. We're not trying to hide anything or scam anyone. How many times do we have to say this? Also we have already told you that the wintergalactic domain is having issues, so when we resolve them we will have the official posting on the site. I can't give you a date or time when the site will be back up, but it will go up no doubt. Hold on to your tickets, you will get you refunds.

LOL, I work for Verisign/Network Solutions.... if the domain was registered with us you would not be having this problem cause I could have fixed it up in a jiffy! Serves you right!! LOL j/k.. :D
It doesn't even seem to be registered to you guys wich really sucks,
