Honestly; tracks as 'The Space We Are' and 'Are You Fine' have nothing to do with trance, right ? It's electronic popmusic ffs! |

One thing I find strange is that Dance 4 Life is #34 but I don't recall Armin playing it in any show?
I always thought this was just an ASOT Top 20 and NOT a general trance Top 20 (which explains it being so dubious.) |

| LoL... that racoon track is a joke! But yeah I like a few of 'em tracks like those Blake Jarrell mixes and the Arksun/Andy Moor tune. No Sean Tyas surprisingly. |

Control Freak, YearZero are the best trance songs on there. In terms of ridiculously epic anthems, I do enjoy Divine, Arisen and Exactly. The Blake Jarrell and Jose Amnesia songs are nice but not trance. The Above and Beyond songs are nice for home listening I guess but kind of boring. The Armin songs really suck, every one of them. Walk Down and Space we Are are just vocal pop dance. The Markus Schulz and Shah tracks, again, ok for home listening but boring IMO. And Life Less Ordinary does not belong on any top lists, unless the list is 'Best Sweedish House Mafia Rip-Off songs'.
ASOT should really be its own genre of music, because that list is not really trance. I enjoy listening to the radio show but IMO that list is pretty weak. |
