1, Zero B - Lock up (1991)
2, Cubic 22 - Night in Motion (1991)
3, The Prodigy - Your Love (1992)
4, Pragha Khan - Rave Alert (1992)
5, Humate - Love Stimulation (1993)
6, Bizzare Inc - Playing with knives
7, SL2 - On a ragga tip (1992)
8, Liquid - Sweet Harmony (1992)
9, Rhythm is Rhythm - Strings of life (1989) - i can't not include this, along with the next tune are 2 of the most important tunes you'd ever need to know from then.
10, 808 State - Pacific (1989)

but like system-j i could add tens to hundreds more which would all have legitimate claim

Seriously, like, only 10 from those years? You could pick a hundred. It's like asking for a top ten from 1996 until now. There's really that much material, if not more. Split it between 1990-92 and 92-94; that would make it at least a little bit easier. :p

Here's my (really offhand, really incomplete, non-eurodance) chart:

Underworld - Dark & Long (Dark Train)
The Visions of Shiva - Perfect Day
The Age of Love - Age of Love (Jam & Spoon's Watch Out For Stella Mix)
Underworld - Rez/Cowgirl
Orbital - Halcyon & On & On
Aphex Twin - Blue Calx
Way Out West - Ajare
Jam & Spoon - Stella
Mike Oldfield - Let There Be Light (BT's Pure Luminescence Mix)
Barbarella - My Name Is Barbarella

Arg, and The Future Sound of London - Papua New Guinea
and Hardfloor - Acperience
and Cosmic Baby - The Space Track
and Leftfield
and and and

Impossible.

The KLF - What Time Is Love? (Live @ Trancentral), too, but the original is 1988, so I left it out.

Sterac - Asphyx (1995)

Dextro NRG - Morella (Warehouse Underworld Mix) (1994)
Modus Vivendi - Modus Vivendi (Fade In Mix) (1993)

Plus loads of stuff from labels like B12, Frankfurt Beat Productions, Basic Channel, Djax Up Beats, Force Inc Music Works, Labworks Germany, Le Petit Prince, Out On A Limb, Underground Resistance, Trope Recordings, Time Unlimited, R&S Records, Planet Core Productions, Overdrive, Suck Me Plasma, See Saw, Music Man Records, EXperimental... I have to stop here, my hand is getting tired. :p

Really, just take your pick. There's an unlimited amount of excellent electronics from that time period, unlike today.
