I think the management idea is that they need the Christmas bonus more and also a Christmas bonus is a better retention tool for certain pay-scale groups of employees (whereas more lucrative general compensation packages work better for retaining higher income employees). |

my bonus was about 6% of my Salary. Plus the letter stated that there will be hefty raises in 2007.
My Sales Dept increased sales by 38% this year. So its well deserved.
Looks like Az is getting a Wii. |

No bonus here. My staff get bonuses, the two levels of management above me get bonuses, but me - not so much. I get very cranky around bonus time. Everyone at work talks about what they will do with their bonuses, and I sit there and place a hex on them

We receive very nice gift certificate to our choice among many restaurants, jewellery stores and other stops (there are like 10 to chose from). Plus we all get like a 20-30 pound turkey! :)
Im jealous of you though Laura :( I wish we could chose a store like Chapters or Coles!
That would be my first and MOST WANTED EVER choice! I read a LOAD too... read 3-4 novels in the last 2 weeks! :D
Last year I used my last two xmas bonuses to buy a very nice Swiss Army watch! :toocool: |
